Bay Area Norstar & BCM End of Life Transition Support
Nortel declared bankruptcy and sold its business telephone system assets to Avaya in 2009. Avaya has declared all Norstar and BCM business phone systems “end of life.” This means that Norstar and BCM products are being phased out and will no longer be supported over the next few years.

- Norstar 616 & 824 PBX: Manufacturer support discontinued 2002
- Norstar CICS & MICS PBX: Discontinued October 2010, manufacturer part support ends October 2014
- Norstar Voice Mail: Discontinued December 2003
- Norstar Call Pilot Voice Mail: Discontinued October 2010, parts available until October 2014
BCM
- BCM 50 & 450: Discontinued March 2012, manufacturer support ends March 2015
- BCM 200 & BCM 400 PBX: Discontinued Feb 2010, manufacturer support ends March 2013
